Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) Case Renders Leaked
It’s exciting: Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) case renders offers a revamped design
Samsung has carved a niche market for its Galaxy A series by offering metallic design coupled with mid range pricing and superior performance. For quite Samsung mid and budget range devices were using the very same design language in every other iteration which made it different distinguish one from another. Samsung is looking forward to change the monotony by going with a refreshing take on the Galaxy A5 2018 which is all set to get the Infinity Display next year as suggested by a leaked case render. This smartphone has also been making waves on a number of certification sites which also suggests that Galaxy A5 2018 will be making its debut soon enough.
Galaxy A5 Launch is just round the corner
Samsung likes to keep its tradition intact by launching devices in the similar time frame. The galaxy A series smartphones of 2017 namely Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 were launched at the CES in January. So it is highly likely that Samsung is gearing up to showcase the next Galaxy A5 at the CES 2018. It is worth noting that Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone are known for featuring IP68 dust and water resistance along with the metal frame coupled with 3D glass panel to give it a premium feel.
Feature expected in the Galaxy A5 (2018)
A major change in the design followed by the Samsung is the placement of the fingerprint sensor right on the back of the device. Rather than keeping the finger print sensor in a bit off center position on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Note 8 devices, Samsung will be placing it right underneath the single rear camera. It will make be convenient for the users to reach for it without missing it anytime though users are likely to smudge their camera to some extent.
Another major insight offered by the case render is the presence of the infamous Bixby key on the left side. This button is placed just under the volume keys and its offers the possibility of having two digital assistants on their smartphone namely Google Assistant and Bixby. This would be first time that Samsung will be bringing its digital assistant to the mid range devices by launching on the Galaxy A5 (2018). It is highly expected that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy A5 (2018) along with the Galaxy A7 (2018) in January next year.
Both of these devices are expected to feature similar chipset namely the Exynos 7885 SoC or Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 depending on the market. On the RAM Samsung will either offer 4GB or 6GB variant to the users but on the OS it will still feature the Android 7.1 Nougat instead of the latest Oreo which might be a bummer for a number of users.
The presence of the infinity display further shows the trend where every other smartphone manufacturer is bringing the bezel less display on its varied smartphone range. A bezel less Samsung mid-range device will help in getting larger market share for the company with the launch of Galaxy A 5 (2018).
