Sennheiser has always put sound for the past 75 years. And the Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds are the company’s second wireless earphones. Sennheiser had already launched the original Momentum True Wireless back in 2018. And the earbuds’ design was excellent and had solid connectivity. In addition to that, it was also able to block ample outside noise. Though earbuds were better than any other competitive products, it also had some flaws. Hope the new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 has improved on most of the defects. And in this blog post, we will review the earbuds and see if it is worth the price.

MOMENTUM True Wireless 2- Design:

The design of the all-new earbuds looks more or less like its predecessor. But the size of the earbuds is 2mm trimmed. Also, Sennheiser has made the wireless earbuds to be available in white color.

The earbuds come with a metallic outer panel adorning the Sennheiser logo. The ergonomic design of the new earpieces delivers high-quality music with unbelievable comfort. The Sennheiser has also included four pairs of silicone ear tips for extra fit appendages. The bespoke 7 mm dynamic drivers of the all-new MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 earbuds enhance every genre’s music and deliver a frequency range of 5Hz to 21 kHz.

The outer panels are so sensitive when touched, and it even makes audible beeping sounds when touched or pressed. This is something that the company must improve in. It becomes quite tricky when you put your earbuds on or try adjusting it. Yes, the earbuds are controlled by just tapping on the panel. On the left earbud, by a single tap, you can handle the playback; by double tap, you can forward the track and triple track will move backward the track. By holding the taps, you can decrease the volume. While on the right earbud, the single tap will control the voice assistants; the double-tap will entre into the transparent listening mode. In addition to that, triple taps will on or off the ANC, and hold will volume up. Memorizing the functions seems to be a little confusing.

The music will automatically stop when the earbuds are removed. This Smart Pause option helps you to enjoy your favorite music fully without missing even a second.

MOMENTUM 2 – Smart Control App:

Sennheiser’s Smart Control App allows you to pair your device with the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 earbuds. And with the help of this app, you can customize what you want to hear and how you interact with the device.

The app contains its intuitive equalizer to adjust the sound. You can adjust and perfect your listening experience with the help of this equalizer.

You can also define your controls according to your convenience. In addition to it, you can also use the “Transparent Hearing Settings” to choose how much amount of ambient noise you want to hear.

MOMENTUM True Wireless 2- Sound Quality:

The sound quality of the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 earbuds is simply amazing. The music of different genres is delivered without any flaw. The Bass, in particular, are sounded the best. The music delivered is rich and balanced. You don’t have to fiddle with the equalizer to get better sound effects necessarily.

These earbuds are best known for their Active Noise Cancellation feature. The earbuds are so impressive with this ANC feature. You can hear your favorite music track or important calls without any interpretation. 

Also, with the “Transparent Hearing” option, you can control how much ambient noise you want to hear while your earbuds are on.

MOMENTUM  2- Price:

The all-new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 is available in markets with a price tag of 299.95$. The price seems to be a bit costlier. Though the Sennheiser has improved the features of the earbuds, it is still not enough. There are few other wireless earbuds in the market which provide better ANC.

MOMENTUM True Wireless 2- Verdict:

Sennheiser has always provided the best sound quality. And the new Momentum True Wireless is no less. It provides finely crafted and enhanced sound quality. And these earbuds do not compromise in any terms of connectivity, sound quality, design, ANC. But still, the price is a bit expensive. And there are few places in which Sennheiser must improve in.
